Behind Quiet Heart is a team united by one purpose: helping women find hope, healing, and a new beginning. We work together because we believe in the power of transformation—and we’ve had the privilege of witnessing God change lives firsthand.
Executive Director
Deborah Shelton
"We want to help as many women as we can to come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We want them to get grounded and rooted in the Word of God and upon leaving to become active in their local churches. Our desire is for them to leave "changed," a new creature in Christ!! The Quiet Heart was born out of Mrs. Deborah's burden to help the women of this world. The Lord has used this ministry to bless many families and will continue doing so.

Crossroads Rescue Mission Executive Director
Rocky Shelton
Bro. Rocky Shelton founded Crossroads Rescue Mission in 2001. Since then Bro. Rocky and Mrs. Deborah felt the burden and responded to the call to create a place for women to seek help as well.

Women's Supervisor
Wanda Stewart
Ms. Wanda Stewart is our women's division supervisor. Wanda was part of the women's program herself and graduated in October of 2023. Now Wanda works and lives onsite with the women to assist them daily through the program and encourage transformation in others lives just as the Quiet Heart did in her own life.
